History of Columbia College

Columbia College started in 1851 west of the Mississippi River in Columbia, Missouri. Columbia College is affiliated with the Christian Church. Today, it is a nonsectarian school which welcomes students of all religious faiths. In 1970, Columbia College developed into a four year co-ed liberal arts and sciences institution. There are more than 33 Columbia extended campuses on military bases around the country serving more than 11,000 students each year.

Columbia College Online Degree Programs

In 2000, Columbia College started offering online courses. The Columbia College online program has some 500 online courses and nearly 20 online degrees and enrolls more than 14, 000 students every year.
